#TimedMileTuesday, Gate River Run, & Friends ~

So much happened today!  It's great, and I'm excited for the Gate River Run expo coming up this Thursday - Saturday!

Everyone has done such an amazing job so far.  The Account Manager (Blaize) did an awesome job in getting us to Florida in one piece.  Tour Manager (Shannon) in finding us stellar hotel rooms within budget along the way, and the Assistant Tour Manager (Zach) with the logistics.  I'm so incredibly excited for our first event - the Gate River Run - as I'll finally be able to really shine and show my value and expertise as the Product & Gait Specialist!

But first things first...

Today was Tuesday and that means #TimedMileTuesday!

New PR!
 4:47...

Fastest mile I've ran since starting #TimedMileTuesday and a new PR!  Smoking, hauling, so many great adjectives you could use to describe that mile...  Definitely a little more humid than Seattle but it obviously didn't slow me down that much!

Later that day:

After we checked-out of our hotel we drove up to the Fairgrounds in Jacksonville to unload the Deep-Shoe Diver and deliver what we needed for the expo starting on Thursday.

Deep-Shoe Diver about to be unloaded
After a quick rinse-down, Blaize drove the Deep-Shoe Diver into the expo center.  It was a little bit of a tight fit, but Blaize's driving skills are top-notch and he did an excellent job.  Can't speak highly enough of him.

So fresh, so clean...
After unloading some collateral from the trailer and prepping the Deep-Shoe Diver, we all piled into the Dodge and headed to our hotel that'd be our home for the next couple days about 25 minutes away.

Without going too much into my personal life, one of my friends who moved to Tampa, Florida, (about 3 hours south) drove up to hangout upon hearing that I was going to be in the state!  It was great to catch up with her :)

Once again, super excited for the Gate River Run expo starting Thursday.   I feel like I've been in the backseat since we started (literally and figuratively) and I'm so unbelievably thankful to finally be able to demonstrate my expertise and value once the expo doors open.

More expo prep work tomorrow and freshening up on my ClearGait skills (the app we use for gait-analysis) but apart from that I should be able to fit in a solid run and check out the beach!
