Today I woke up early in order to get in a solid run and explore Jacksonville Beach before we all met for breakfast and headed to the expo to finish setup.

The most prominent landmark in Jacksonville Beach seems to be a massive, mile-long bridge that serves to connect it to Jacksonville - it provided some excellent picture opportunities:

So theoretically my run took me from Jacksonville Beach to Jacksonville, and back.  Nothing like cross-city running!

Ending it at the beach :) and YES, definitely feeling that Florida humidity just a tad...I was soaked.

After breakfast we all piled into the Dodge and headed to the Jacksonville fairgrounds to finish setting up for the Gate River Run expo starting tomorrow!

After all was said and done, the Deep-Shoe Diver and our space in general looked AMAZING!  Seriously, Skechers Performance may be the title sponsor of the Gate River Run but we're the star attraction ;)

So many people complimented us on our set-up and inquired about Run Happy Island - it was awesome.

On another note, I walked around the entire expo and laid down a bunch of #RunHappyIsland stickers guiding people to our spot - not that you could possibly miss a giant Sea Foam Green/Robin Egg Blue, i.e. Robin Thicke' Blue, colored bus-submarine car-boat to begin with but just in case!

Tonight the team and I are all going to get Hawaiian-Fusion for dinner!  Until then, I have some hamstring stretches and exercises to do!
