"Sparky" (Part 2)

After my run, after breakfast, and after meeting up with the team, we all headed to the warehouse in order to start loading up the trailer for our departure tomorrow!

Interestingly enough, while there I came across some relics of previous tours, including...

Zoltar!  Forteling Runner's Fortunes!

And even an old gift with a little history behind it...

Meet 'Sparky'

Zoltar would not be joining us for Run Happy Island this year, though I did manage to find a spot for Sparky in the trailer and she'll be accompanying us - her 2nd tour to my knowledge :)

Sadly, we also had to say goodbye to one of our team mates - Ray - who would be leaving a day before us in the semi driving solo to Washington DC for the Rock 'n' Roll event there.  Hopefully our paths will cross again - super nice and knowledgable guy - can't wish him enough good things.  Though Ray is heading to Washington DC and us to Jacksonville, we'll be taking almost the exact route west so he'll also be able to scope out the weather for us in advance and relay any changes in route he'd feel would be beneficial.

Safe travels Ray!

Once again, I can't thanks Brooks enough for affording me the opportunity to be part of the 2015 Run Happy Island Tour.  Running changes lives - literally.  It alleviates stress and deflates the daily doubts and hesitations that plague us while imparting health and wellness - to me this is the cornerstone of #RunHappy.  And I can't be excited or thankful enough to Brooks for letting me be the catalyst of so many people's #RunHappy experience over the next couple months as the Product & Gait Specialist.
